goto device manager , look up your gpu and double click it , select the resources tab , what does it say in the conflicting device list?

The conflicting device is 90% likely his video card and that soundblaster. It is a common problem with Creative cards. Look at your device manager. View resources by connection and look at IRQ. They are probably sharing virtual IRQ 16. Usually a BIOS flash or simply moving the sound card to a different PCI slot can fix it. Let us know what you find.
