Anyone install it? I got it last night. Dark mode is something I can never undo now. Love it. Some nice stuff here. Battery charging option that learns your habits and keeps charging at 80% until you're about to unplug. Helps with the life of the battery. Neat feature. The volume on screen change is nice as well. Easier to maneuver on screen.
I will wait I only use my iPad for playing FFBE which already broke since 3.4.0 as far hd goes cause crashes way to frequent since then, I dont want to beta test an OS and add to that games issues. I am most interested in the black them though!
The only update that I am interested in and it doesn't support my iPhone 6 Plus. Oh the joy of being Apple customer Well, fu Apple! I am not buying a new iPhone (yet)! Here to another 5 years for my trusty phone! Will totally jailbreak if Apple start to mess with my phone!
BTW anyone knows how to install old apps on iphone 4/5. I have an old iphone but it says " need to update to ios X.X" For example i need to install whatsapp. but again the msg appears asking to upgrade ios. (and ios does not upgrade [EOL])
I don't think there a way to fix it. That's why it sucks to use Apple products, they just cut off support for older hardware and developers are only pushing software that support modern iphones. Afaik, there now way to legally install older software, neither it's guaranteed to work properly. I don't have much knowledge about cracking iphone, but your best bet would be to jailbreak your old iphone and install the application manually. Hopefully the API remains the same and you can use it.
IT WORKED!. I logged into itunes (12.1.3) installed whatsapp, facebook, gmail, etc. Then logged out. Again on the iphone, i went to APP store, signed in and went to "updates">Purchased Then i can see the apps (those i installed to itunes). Click on "get"..... then a message appears : .......but you can download the last compatible version.... --------------------- This for grandpa!!
I've come across a few bugs. Some apps wont go to landscape mode when watching video. No biggie. A few texts get garbled. And I got stuck in a game, couldn't exit out and had to do a hard reboot. But overall, it's really stable compared to previous beta's I've been in. As for lack of support with old phones. It sucks. Not a fan. My contract is up later this year and I'm thinking of making the jump back to an Android, my only issue there is all the privacy concerns. Not that Apple is much better, bit IS slightly better.
