We’re happy and excited to announce that we are partnering with Intel to provide the best possible performance and optimization for our PC players in HITMAN 3....

So, I'm able to spot more crowd in Dubai if I have an 8 core CPU, or an Intel 8 core CPU? If it's the latter, then I'll never touch this game ever in my life.

If they implement MOC, then AVX512 will come into play. And that means, you may need more cores on CPUs limited to AVX2.

Lol game developer announces that they are planning on doing their job? I would think that as a game developer you would do everything possible to make sure your game is optimised respective of what hardware it is running on. What that they have done there is announced that they are working hard to optimise their game but only if you run it on SPECIFIC hardware.

This news was way more interesting - yet poignant under the recent loss.

That is more interesting - we haven't seen a 007 game in like 8 years. Fun memories playing Nightfire.

Optimizing this days is very simple - simply downgrade your rival.... AMD did it with Valhalla and now Intel will do it with it with Hitman...

    I think it's ubisoft
but yeah, that dx12 port is atrocious.same graphics as odyssey yet performance takes a hit.just a way bigger one on nvidia.5700xt went from doing stable 60 in odyssey to 50 in valhalla.2070 super is now slower,in odyssey it was faster than 5700xt.
the game is reportedly boring as hell too.

Not rly surprising. Game was heavy on CPU before port. But if someone has sufficient CPU, AMD's side had a lot to gain from DX12 while nVidia had almost nothing to gain.
If they changed something that increased GPU demand, then both went down. RDNA just compensated it bit better.

well that'd be true if both hadn't lost performance compared to odyssey

be funny if amd outperformed them in a game they're optimizing

We all know they do not optimize PC releases beyond "It works, kind of, done". Look at any of the major "TrIpLe AyYYyYyyyy" releases this year, they all take far more GPU power than they should, with the latest Watch Derps taking double what an optimized game should.

That and do I need to mention their threading is all over the place and stupid compared to the also x86 console code which loads 7 threads evenly. CPU utilization in modern games I've tested has been so stupid that it seems intentionally sabotaged.

I liked Hitman, and Hitman blood money, but completely lost track of this franchise over the years.

If anybody is more guilty of gimping their rivals and even their own products its nvidia. They graduated on this stuff.

bunch of baloney perpetuated by clickbait yt channels unsupported by actual tests

as for gimping the other brand that is just silly.if anything that's just making themselves look good.that's not a crime.if it is,then please do your little investigation of why fc5 benchmark is almost all water then actual the game is almost no water.could it have anything to do with vega cards using fp16 to accelerate it and amd bribing ubisoft to show it off in performance ? gee,I don't know.

look at benchmark numbers and then how the cards compare in game.
how did vega make itself trade blows with a 1080ti in the reviews.incredible work form ubi and amd optimizing the game.....or is it
