"Intel delivered strong first-quarter results driven by exceptional demand for our leadership products..." I wonder if anyone on Earth is actually that delusional.

I am just making fun of people that kept writing intel is dead ...rip intel .... Etc meanwhile they never went into red ! They still earn billions of profit! Sure amd currently murdering em on cpus , but financially they where never even in danger to get on a quarter with losses . I wrote a lot of times if amd survived bulldozer intel and their size they need at least 3 bulldozers in the row to go bankrupt ....maybe even more ! I really with for a strong intel and amd battling it out constantly !

I would be surprised if zen3 sold more units than intel's 10th gen.

NeoCyrus is laughing at them claiming leadership products, not volume.
For the quantity, they certainly moved a lot.
For quality, they get a participation diploma.

Love the enthusiasm. If you keep repeating you have you have a leadership product it might happen and people would believe.

Their brand new 11gen already dropped in price becouse of that leadership.

Believe me, saying "we're the best, buy us" really works for majority of customers.

Intel is not dead. Nor will be.
Demand for hardware increased, so that's that.
We need competition, it's beneficial to the end consumer.
But make no mistakes, Intel lost some of their customer trust.
Time will show how they will manage growth and offering.

Hey, if AMD didn't die during the years when it was the value leader, why would Intel die as it becomes the value leader in AMD's place? In technical matters, the companies have traded places and Intel is now the value-go-to product. Er, except for Xeon, in the server markets, where Intel is still overcharging and underperforming Epyc by a fairly wide margin.

Ironically this last year AMD finally get properly ahead and it's didn't matter as I am sure both sold everything they could make.

Value leader , they where reduced to bellow 100 bucks market . And again people where preferring pentium g chips, the bulldozer era was a rough one for amd was just piling dept they reached what ? 1 billion in depts ? So they survived years operating with big losses and they manage to bounce back ! What i was trying to say people say intel is dead and intel had not a single red quarter in earnings yet .... Not to mention they have the money ti stay afloat for long if need be.

gross margins 6 points down YoY - that's what all the Ryzen hoopla amounts to when it comes to Intel.

not a meaningless impact, but not the end of the world

Yes they are still deep in the green, financially wise they are in no danger to get in the red anytime soon , although they will be if they do not do a strong comeback .... Well eventually at least .
