One question remains, Q6600 or a E6850. Going to buy a new processor :) That 3Ghz really look sweet and so does the Q6600.

The E6850 is better for gaming. But by the end of July, Barcelona should be almost here (granted, nobody knows how much it will cost, but it will be an option)...

The Barcelona is sounding really cool as well but dont know what i need to modify yet to run it. C2D will last awhile i reckon. Its still 1.5 month away so i will have alot time to research the new CPUs.

Hmm, buy a E6600 now or in the near future for €180 (or perhaps E6700 for €260) or wait a few more months to get the E6850? :bonk:

Looks like I'll be buying an E6850, I just hope it will be that cheap over here in England, but as we all know Americans get their pc components alot cheaper than us.

I'm thinkin I might just sell my 6600 and up to this, rather then spend a boatload in cooling to try and get my 6600 up to 3.6.. I have a feeling the 6850 may be just the ticket!

Ahh forget what I said, heck the E6750 will be a better deal, BUT I better start saving my pennies, I think there is ONLY one bad BOY in town for gaming, and that's the ----> E6850 ;)

lets just hope the new E6850 will have as good overclocking potential as its predecessor the E6600 - that would be heaven :kind:
