Rather silently Intel added four new processors to its three-year-old Atom C3000 line. The fantastic four are given the additions 'R' and 'L'.... Intel expands Atom C3000 processor line with four new SoCs
yes but only for normal consumer, on pro side it have evolved to really good products, ideal for low power server or embeded product.
Does new line of Atoms have decent IPC, or is it as bad as before? 4C/4T "Pentium" N5000 crushes 4C/4T Atom x7-z8700 as it has double per core performance at same clock.
I guess check the instruction sets. The Atom you spoke of seems to be pretty barren, basically just offering the essential instructions to run modern software, but not a whole lot that'll help with performance.
