Haswell desktop processors debuted last week, and, as was the case with Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge launches, the initial lineup consisted of Core i5 and i7 quad-core models. Less expensive products, ...

    Looks fake.

Intel previously stated that Silvermont will join Haswell in the low end Celerons and Pentiums. That is missing from this "roadmap".

I am waiting for Haswell-EXTREME with DDR4 and Quad-Channels confirmed. Rumors say it will support 6-12 CPU Cores but thats yet to be seen.

Well, if they are honestly going to make some like ivybridge-e, I might actually be buying a rig this year. Those LGA2011's are still holding their own after a year or two.

Sounds interesting, but Haswell E should be is far away still.... maybe a year an half, and if doesnt release more cores might end up like this gen sandy/ivy/haswell none E being very similar. I think Skylake is where intel might release something worth it... or by then i hope AMD has something in their sleve to compete, else we going to be milked to death by intel and their super low upgrade platforms.
