64bit versions of both Windows and Android for both next generation tables, phones etc this is indeed good news and we may see tablets with more than 2gb of RAM that don't have the mobile core i series of CPUs such as the MS Surface pros.

I was shocked to see so many tablets in 2014 that still had 1gb of ram.
50% of the reason I never bought a new one to replace my aged Dell Streak 7.
Plus an S4 is more then good enough for PC gaming streaming.

Yeah majority of tablets have only 1gb of ram while there are a few with 2gb of RAM. The only tablets that I have seen that have more than 2gb of RAM are those laptop tablet hybrids.

It's not all that bad though. These systems still have around 500MB of RAM free and because they use an SSD, the RAM limitation isn't anywhere near as noticeable as if it had a HDD inside. Things should still multitask quite well.
