Amazing cards for the market, if intel can slash the price more at 2024 black friday we can buy at last low-end and middle range cards for a resonable price.
Intel Frame Generation Technology For XeSS Could Be Coming Soon: ExtraSS With Frame Extrapolation To Boost Game FPS
Next year will be really interesting.
Article has it wrong though: XeSS is not open-source, only source-code of loader stuff is available. The neural network is only provided in binary form.
Why is it trouble? A770 is clearly slower than last gen 6700xt in all games.
Would choose a 7600 XT any day over a 16GB A770.
So this is where the AMD superfans go to when they need to feel good about their choices.
Intel could have potential if they improve the hardware in the future
Problem with Arc is it pretends to be a budget GPU option but it's actually a beta test product that you pay money for. Imagine some kid saving money for a year and then buying this unfinished product, where randomly in some game you may get 2x or 3x lower FPS than cards from Nvidia/AMD. I wish Intel all the best but I feel bad for people who buy this as their main and only GPU. This is cool for tinkerers who can afford to have 4 computers around the house. Arc has huge potential but it needs many more years to be ready for mainstream consumers.
