At the end of the day Intel is happy as usually always is, end users ripped off :infinity:
i came here to post this. i cant believe nobody has even touched this point & we are just squawking about whether or not intel deserves the revenue from their long term price-gouging
lets see wat their quarterly report is in Q2. or Q3, even...that would be far more informative
Of course they make profit, but competition is the best for us all. It's called business. Anyway I hope AMD is back in business, lowers prices for everyone
A single bad product will not sink(AKA bankrupt) NV or intel.
What are you going on about? Did you even read what I responded to?
is 7700k still the fastest gaming processor still?...sorry but I can't keep up with stuff like I use to.
In most situations yes.
Multi-threading is not rare. Nearly every application released is multi-threaded. For someone that claims to be a software dev, that should be common knowledge. Of course there's room for improvement, but that will always be the case....both in software and hardware.
Yes, ONLY for gaming. I don't know if there software that only accepts Intel cpus.
Graph made by AMD, so take it with pinch of salt.
The graph actually makes complete sense.
Sadly, there is in the commercial/business market.... I don't believe any exists in the consumer market though.
I simply disagree. And those which come multithreaded, most of them have no more than 2 threads. I don't talk about encoders and decoders. And efficiency decreases with an extra added thread in most cases (synchronized). Don't you think I don't want software to be multithreaded? But I have to face the facts and truth. I'm not only soft dev, I'm also hardware enthusiast. But I'm human and cannot always keep up with latest stuff, because I have a lot of work.
