I wonder how much 'cheaper' the older generation 390 series mobos and CPU's will become for the man on the street? And affording him a chance with little cash to still somewhat participate in the deep pocket enthusiast world. Same going for RTX 1080 and 2080 cards that by mid 2021 will probably sell below $100. Indeed with no money in the bank, patience and waiting on the sidelines is a given. Like retirement coming soon and living on a string.
Good luck finding a 20 series card for $100 until @ least 3 yrs from now. With the price gouging, and current lack of supply, things will stay "unaffordable" for the foreseen future...
