    Hey Guys
Just picked up a 2700k coming from an i7 930. My question is the hd3000 built in graphics. Do I install the 2 gen intel graphic driver for this on top of my video card driver? Or do I just leave it alone. Do I need to install this for the cpu graphics to handle stuff like physics better? I also have a z77 board with built in Hdmi for cpus with built in graphics. Can I use the Intel graphics for my tv and 7970 for my monitor?

    Thanks in advance

    ok so I install both
Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Intel Core™ Pentium® and Celeron® Processors with Intel® HD Graphics

    And

    Intel Chipset Driver.

Or do I just need to install the driver with graphic support?

You don't need to install the Intel HD graphics driver unless you're actually going to use it. By default, it gets bypassed when a PCI-E device is plugged in.

Install both if you want to use the Intel GPU.

Wait I didn't see this. Do I need to install the graphics driver to get the full performance from my cpu?( will I see any benefit in windows or gaming) Can I run a duel monitor setup with the inboard graphics and my 7970 and then switch between them?

You only install the driver if you need/want quicksync. otherwise a standard amd driver will work just fine.

Quicksync is used for video rendering

YES you need to install the Intel driver to use HD3000 GPU. There is no CPU driver only a driver for the onboard video.

AMD drivers do not work on Intel CPU's....
