Image sharpening is a total gimmick. Plus it's built into their overlay, which I always disable.
Alt-F3, assuming you installed GFE.
it is, but doesn't appear even with gfe latest version and experimental features on.
Did you disable the On-Screen Overlay? Might be worth uninstalling GFE and reinstall.
I have done all that, it's not a feature i will really really miss tho, since not all games i play use DLSS or TAA, but it was really usefull somethimes so maybe i will miss a little.
I'm not leaving the performance i got from this driver in other games for that.
neat little piece of software I didnt know existed so thanks. Unfortunately I had assumed it would let me see/grab the driver, I guess it doesnt show if im not on the proper version of windows.
The "live" driver is giving me some streaming trouble, so I want to try these out. Anyone know which file from the uploaded folder I need to run to install? DCH fwiw.
edit - tried em all no bueno. what am i missing?
Installer says it's not DCH compatible or am I doing something wrong? Used the file from Mediafire.
I dont think the DCH version was uploaded. I think it was the standard version so until someone who is on insider that installed the DCH version uploads that, GG
heres the link to the DCH cab. Figure its faster than trying to upload it somewhere etc.
Download it, if it comes extensionless, rename and add .cab
extract the cab to a folder.
as others have noted, its missing the latency mode setting, but the maximum pre-rendered frames (same thing) is back. Just a minimum of 1 instead of 0 which i think ultra provided.
The link is time-limited. You'll need to host it somewhere.
Couldn't see an installer after unrarring so did it through old fashioned manual driver update in hardware manager. Installed over the 431.36 which I considered best until now.
These drivers work fine on my system, I do have more fps in bfv under dx11. Firestrike gives good results also.
So far I like this driver. No issues installing them over an exsisting driver install.
ah shite. i already un-insider builded, which resulted in needing to restore from a backup which due to a bug i was unaware of in the version of macrium i was using surrounding cbt resulted in the backup failing. Which resulted in me having to roll back ~5 days to the most recent full (thank god it was only 5 days ago).
All in the name of getting this darned driver which runs well, but didnt fix the problem I was hoping it would lol.
anyhow TLDR, im pretty sure its already deleted from recycling bins n such, but ill poke around and see if i still have it buried. Didnt know it was time gated.
found it. Installer n all included. This is time gated too! (by me) I'm pretty anal about keeping my dropbox neat n tidy but I figure the majority of people that need it will grab it within a week or so ;P
Admittedly too lazy to sign up for/find one of those file sharing/hosting site things
I can't recommend this driver with Gears 5, textures are corrupted and mountains shooting through the floor.
Also id like to highlight this area now found in 440.23 Control panel "top tab" DESKTOP -"enable developer features"
Does wonders in Control with DLSS enabled. Like night and day difference on models/textures.
That has been there for a while now.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider The Path Home bench:
And the reference results are? That doesn't help a whole lot.
