I recently purchased the trilogy and yes Crysis 1 is really bad, very poor optimized, but i cannot say the same about Crysis 2, the game is smoooth and looks very good too, i havent tried Crysis 3 so i cannot say something.

2070S is all that's required to run this smootly with rt on if you're using dlss
    w. 3060ti/6800 you can even run native + raytracing
if you extrapolate the perf uplift on 2070S,3060Ti should do 90fps w. dlssq and 3070 should hit 100.Even 3060 should 60fps easily with rt if you use dlssq

    Screenshot 2021.png Screenshot 2021-10-26 at 21-35-.png

3080 takes a 29% perf hit going from rt high+transparent reflections to rt ultra
    6800xt a 42% hit.
    I think w. dlssq at 1440p my 3060ti should still manage +60fps w. ultra rt,though it's probably not worth another 30% over high+transparency

    rt.png

not worth it though, can you even tell which is ultra and which is high ?

    https://imgsli.com/Nzg4NTY

    rt on vs off
now that is something to behold

I'm assuming you posted two screenshots without changing settings as your FPS in both is 28.
Unless the settings actually do nothing

It runs great if you aren't running stupid settings like Can it run crysis on graphic options like vegetation, shadows, or draw distance.. Stick to medium on those, they were the old very high settings for the original.

I have no problem running max settings on the rest with 120~ fps.

Intel XeSS shown in real games

Intel is slowly expanding its portfolio of XeSS supported titles. A new partnership with IO Interactive and Exor Studios has resulted in super-sampling technology implementation into two games.

Hitman 3 released in January is the first AAA title to feature XeSS support. A demo has been shown as a part of a video posted on YouTube featuring Roger Chandler (Intel’s VP and GM of Client Graphics Products and Solution) promoting Intel as a partner for developers. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, only low-quality 1920×1080 videos are available, but Intel promised to publish 4K XeSS videos later.
We are not exactly sure why Intel has to be reminded to upload high-quality videos each time there is a new XeSS development, yet it appears to be a reoccurring theme.

The game relies on an updated Glacier Engine, which was confirmed to support ray tracing at some point in the future.
Sadly this technology has not yet been added to the game, but neither has any super-resolution technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS or AMD FSR, and that’s despite the game featuring AMD FidetlityFX CAS (Contrast-Adaptive Sharpening).

It seems that the next-gen game update with super-resolution and ray tracing may launch next year though, alongside Intel Arc Alchemist discrete GPU series. After all, Intel has no need to offer this technology right now, which would also boost performance on competitor GPUs, as XeSS will be supported by NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, should both companies be interested of course.

Furthermore, a XeSS demo featuring a game called The Riftbreaker was shown by Lisa Pearce (VP of Architecture, Graphics, and Software at Intel). This game was developed by Exor Studios, a Polish company that has just recently added AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) to the game in June this year. That said, Riftbreaker would be the first game to support FSR and XeSS. Unfortunately, the video is quite blurry (low bitrate) and it is hard to see differences between native and XeSS without focusing on details.

On a laptop RTX2060 115W TDP I am seeing like 1-2fps more in CP2077 in hard places. for example in the last mision where you atack Arasaka tower with Rouge when the Copter crashes and you are landing on foots I had drops from 60fps to 49-50 on 2.3.2 now I have like 51-52fps in this specific moment.

Needs testing for Atifacts, 2.3.2 is almost Flawless.
Can someone pixel-pick this one :D

    IMhO 2.3.3 can't be bad ;)

FYQD Studio worked closely with NVIDIA throughout the entire development process of Bright Memory: Infinite after the addition of ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS to the original Bright Memory,
and the release of the Bright Memory: Infinite Ray Tracing Benchmark. Bright Memory: Infinite features DLSS, ray-traced reflections, shadows, caustic effects, and global illumination.
It will support NVIDIA Reflex to minimize latency for an unforgettable experience.

Zeng, indie game developer at FYQD Studio, said:

“Bright Memory: Infinite is the culmination of years of work to prove just what indie developers are capable of.
I look forward to blowing fans away with an experience that’s not just good-looking, but incredibly fun.”

A couple of games now have a slider to adjust sharpening for DLSS.
Both Doom Eternal and Guardians of the Galaxy already have this.
According to PCGH, nvidia told them this slider is meant to be a standard feature for DLSS, going forward.
Probably this will not affect older games, unless the devs update it, like id did with Doom Eternal.
But for newer games, it might be a great option, since some people like this effect and others hate it.

God of War is coming to PC next year with DLSS and FSR support

The game will support 4K and ultra-wide resolutions. It will also have improved reflections and high-resolution shadows, but those features will require powerful systems equipped with GPUs such as NVIDIA RTX 30 or AMD RX 6000 based.
NVIDIA almost immediately confirmed it will enable its Reflex and DLSS technologies in the game.
The latter will enable higher framerates, but only as long as Tensor-enabled GPUs are used, a mandatory requirement for DLSS technology to work.

Luckily for Radeon users though, AMD is also adding its FidelityFX Super Resolution into God of War. This means that not only RDNA and Polaris GPUs will support super-resolution,
but any modern GPU that has already been confirmed to support the technology is likely to enable a high framerate as well.

    Elden Ring

PC version will be locked at 60fps, will support resolutions up to 4K, and will feature Ray Tracing effects.
We can assume that it will be DLSS & FRS as well :) (Because of RT).
