Just tried 2.4.12, it's a massive step backwards when it comes to both aliasing and ghosting.
    2.4.6 is much better.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna pass on 2.4.12. Stick to 2.4.6, it's the best by a country mile.

Is there any DLSS version that can prevent this "Ants effect" from happening on RT reflections? It also happens in Ghostwire Tokyo.

It also might not happen with the release version of the game, as there is a pre-release patch. So we will see soon if that patch will address this artifact then :)

Maybe but unless it's a different dll version I'll be changing it to 2.4.6. :)

Cryengine has the best ray tracing API there is. On GT1030 you can get 40FPS at 1366*768. Other game engines don't even support this GPU for ray tracing or have unplayable stutter.
What Cryengine did for ray tracing should be implemented in all engines. Quality of ray tracing is better than seen in other engines.

    Timestamp for benchmark:
    Code:
    https://youtu.be/0VxegsaNwrA?t=15
So you can play game and Very high settings on 40-50 FPS. Imagine how well performance would be on some better GPU.
I think that ray tracing performance depends of the well written API.

That's because Crytek's Neon Noir is a very well optimized graphical demo and not an actual game. Although 1060's could pull off Crytek's Cryengine RT tech in Cyrsis remastered if I remember right.

6600xt isnt that far behind 3060 or at all but when using rt and vram maxes out you can tell limited bandwidth and pcie lanes becomes an issue just like with 6500xt. Spiderman shows that.

It's not a game but it's quite big map. Game devs are usually using smaller tile sets to render only parts of the game world. This Cryengine demo show it can render such quality ray traced level.

It's still impressive and Crysis Remastered shows off the tech in an actual game rather well. I don't think anyone expected a 1060Ti to pull off RT effects at playable frame rates in any game. But if you youtube around it kinda looks like it can do it at playable frame rates in Crysis Remastered. Which is pretty cool. But the method of RT used by Crytek is far less precise and expansive than what is used in games with more intensive RT effects like the just released Spider-Man Remastered.

The Neon Noir demo use's allot of tricks to pull off what is seen. Like limiting what is reflected using RT, lowering the ploy count of those reflected objects, extremely limiting the distance of those RT reflections, rendering those reflections @ quarter resolution and using really nice cube-maps to fill in beyond those distances among others. Those tricks don't always work as well when your in an actual game (especially cube maps or limited reflection distance with the vast distances of your typical Crysis map).

*edits for- cleaning up my sentences and making things make more sense lol*

    8GB of 6600 XT already aren't sufficient in 1440p without RT either, 3060 23% ahead for 1% low: https://www.pcgameshardware.de/Spid...rderungen-Benchmark-Test-Review-1400598/4/#a1

And with RT + upsampling (scroll down), 6600 XT totally collapses, whereas 3060 is okay-ish playable (79% faster 1% low). This is with the recent final game version and graphics drivers.

You would have to optimize/reduce setting to get it playable on a 6600XT. Because just flat out maxed, ain't happening.

PS games when ported to PC are always so optimized toward Nvidia, I wonder why
