As long as they don't use the corpse of Gamebryo I will have some hope, ohh... wait.. I guess with it being Machine Games it might be id Tech...
yeah, it'd probably be id tech over gamebryo. I wouldn't mind UE5 tho.
Being Machinegames, I'd put my money on idTech7.
I'm interested in Bethesda's take on Uncharted/Tomb Raider type-game
God I hope they don't screw this up.
I grew up with the movies. Watch them all at least once a year.
Raiders of the lost ark is my favorite out of them.
Hmm, didn't expect this franchise to get another game. Hopefully it will be decent. Emperor's Tomb was good, but it went downhill quickly from there. I loved Infernal Machine as a kid, despite it's flaws.
Wow, last time i played as Indy i was searching for Atlantis. How time flies when you're having fun eh?
The bethesda engines all suck... gamebryo is ofc the worst, but idtech looks pretty bad aswell...
I agree with the newest revision of unreal engine being preferable.
Guessing you haven't played or seen Doom Eternal? The game looks pretty phenomenal considering how chaotic things can get. It's also incredibly well optimised, the framerates are pure silk. Also, looks like iDTech 7 can churn out some huge environments. I wouldn't be surprised if MachineGames uses the tech. That or a version of Unreal Engine.
I have, and it looks ok-ish considering the performance, but not by any stretch of the imagination what i would consider "phenomenal".
Then I have to ask, what games look "phenomenal" to you?
Because idTech6 looked fantastic in DOOM 2016 and Wolf 2, and idTech7 looks amazing in DOOM Eternal.
even rage 2 looked really good mostly, id stuff looks and runs amazing.
Disney is opening the box on all front. Yes !
I want Indiana Jones and Star Wars games!
Even an E.T. game !
Hey, look on the bright side.. at least there is no digital landfill.
Cyberpunk 2077, star wars battlefront 2015, and the likes of them.
Doom 2016 looked decent, but textures were quite bad most of the time. I like Doom eternal visual style alot less than doom 2016, though it does have better textures - looks ok-ish imo. Wolfenstein 1 & 2 both looks bad imo.
So, this will be a new version of Todd's Redguard?
