No HDR in 2023 is a joke.
Try adding this to the engine.ini:
Ahaha can't stop laughing. This review is awesome
Hahahaha, nice review!!!
I knew it, this game is ...
I know someone who bought 6 RTX 4090's playing this game,I guess by your logic there on the verge of suicide by now.
I also know some who bought multiples of every RTX 2080/3070/3080/3090/4080.
They must deserve to die, when you read this does sound stupid in your head.
So happy for you and your 7900xt,you are truly a hero for all the people.
Game is bad on a few fronts,I am also most at the point where I may stop buying Unreal Engine games because of Nvidia's evil empire
You should write books, could be quite lucrative.
Is it me or does the game look like a colourful open space Scorn?
Instead of boring us with very little going on, they make sure combat is so repetitive it ends up matching.
Immortals of Aveum Benchmark Test
Them jacket man cards are really showing their worth these days.
Well, thing is DLSS Q looks better than native in this case, whereas FSR 2 looks worse.
65 at native is perfect for me. So count upwards to about 68-70 as my XT runs close to 3.1ghz.
All I see in this post is copium. You bought inferior product and saved some cash, so now you try to find every little win that you can. I understand your situation and I guess I would be just as desperate in your shoes, but don't act like you don't know why Nvidia is outselling AMD 10 to 1. People care about those advanced features that Nvidia has more than direct price comparison nowadays.
And if I was buying a GPU right now, with all the information that I have right now, I would pick 1700€ 4090 over 1200€ 7900 XTX every single time.
Ignore what he said and look at the graph. Your 3080 is behind the 6800 non xt in a UE5 game with nanite and lumen enabled. This isnt the first time and that is not a good showing. Same goes for 7900xt that can be found at 750$ at that level of performance that is a great card. It tailes the much more expensive 4080 in many tittles.
Did you forget what thread this is?
from what i see so far, all UE5 seems to have this grainy feel to the textures and not just because of the film grain, i thought it was lumen at first with the denoising but even remnant 2 seems to have it as it doesn't use lumen
Terrible performance for average graphics, poor coding or fault with the engine?
TBH it's Next-Gen gEngine so it will need Next-Gen GPUs (RTX 5xxx or 8xxx XT)
Or more optimized driver, dunno but maby it needs new HW?
Guys slowly we move towards Superb GFX like in the Pixar* movies (back in the mid 2015y) thus new HW will be nice.
* Not literally of course
some UE5.2 Demos are looking very good.
Maybe both? The engine is fairly new, so room for optimization must be big and devs are probably still learning how the extract the all the porformance they can.
But it doesn`t matter anyway, this games looks average and runs like crap. I hope people don`t buy this kind of games so studios (finally) understand that they can`t release products in such a poor state.
Apparently it was designed for the PS5 and XSX
Unreal 4 games generally have good graphics and performance but something seems to be amiss with these Unreal 5 games
Frame generation is fixed after today's patch! There is no trace of ghosting/artifacts now, HUD included.
Edit. After reload the game the ghosting appears again, maybe it was not engaged correctly after patch installation.
