Immortals of Aveum Delayed One Month for Extra Polish The new release date is set for Tuesday, August 22nd, nearly a month after the original Thursday, July 20th launch date.
So my PC with 3080, 12700K, 32GB RAM, 2TB nVME slots into low-medium bracket. Absolute insanity. What were they thinking?
Not to mention I got bored watching after 6min, always this right hand and occasionally a whip to pull them closer, ff'd to 20min still same old, just with a boss xD
What if I want to play at 1080p or 1440p max settings? These recommended spec sheets are useless for anyone who doesn't have a 4k monitor. It helps 1440p monitor users a little, yes. Not only that this sheet is terrible. They're recommending an RX 5700 XT or a RTX 2080 for 1080p. The 2080 is miles faster than the RX 5700 XT ffs. The 2080 has ray tracing support and the RX 5700 XT doesn't. It's probably possible to play the game at max settings without ray tracing with an RTX 2080 and a Ryzen 7 3700x at 1080p. I'm sure the 5800x3d and RX 6700 non-XT I have would play the game fine max settings at 1080p w/o ray tracing.
Is it? Think about it 5700xt is fast as 2070Super so 2080 isnt that far ahead. Either way i would not look too much into system req. devs usually mess those things up.
Game will give numerical value to your GPU and CPU, a sort of budget and each graphic setting will also have numerical value of impact on cpu and gpu, so you can find your own optimized settings.
Another Forspoken/Atlas fallen type game. I do like these type of games a bunch and I am getting close to the end of Atlas Fallen. Perfect timing on the release of this game in a few days. Was going to buy The Texas Chain Saw Massacre tonight but maybe I will hold off that purchase for a bit.
I have no clue what to make of those hardware requirements. The only things I can think of is... how badly will this crap run on consoles? Why are they targeting extremely niche / halo tier PC products to base their optimization around? Let's get real here, the majority of PC users ar eon a GTX 1650 according to Steam. LMFAO.
The thing is if some devs don't push for a higher tier of configs then no one will upgrade. So it's a catch 22, we stay with no innovation in gfx for those on 1650 or push the boat out and if the consumer is interested then they will upgrade. However I feel Devs will be more interested in console sales with this game and the PC version is more aimed at the high end users. Personally I think the game looks trash, typical marvel style dialogue with magic based combat similar to Ghostwrite Tokyo and very boring and generic art. This game will mostly sell because it's UE5 with all the tech enabled so people will want to use it to test their rigs.
Is this a joke? I can understand targeting perhaps something like an RTX 3070 or 3080 for Ultra but a 4090???????????????
The game doesn't even look good enough to justify those requirements. And the characters and dialogs seem to be as bad as games like Forspoken. I don't see this being a big success for EA.
Gotta normalize €2000 graphics cards somehow. Looks like one of those generic games that everyone forgets two weeks after release and never gets mentioned or brought up ever again. Seemingly even Forspoken generated more buzz before release than this.
