Hi I was wondering if anyone could help, I just bought this new monitor and it refuses to switch to 10bit color, 10 bit color shows in the menu, I hit apply then it it just goes back to 8bit color, I have even tried reducing the resolution stupidly low and even the hz and absolutely refuses to change to 10bit in any mode.

If i plug my displayport into my old dell u2413 it enables instantly, also displayport 1.2 is enabled in the monitor menu.

Did you enable 10bit in your graphic driver CP?

Could the cable not support the bandwidth? Try a different one?

Go into CRU and make sure "Max Pixel Clock" is set to at least 600 MHz. Specs show it supports 10bit. If it's set too low, then there isn't enough bandwidth to support the 10bit output, which would explain why NVCP keeps resetting back to 8bit.

If it is, and it still won't set, then there's an issue with their firmware. Check for an update.

I see the pixel clock, but see no option to change it?

    Use CRU to edit that.

Did what you said and native resolution vanished from the list?

Hmm, then I guess you need to restore to defaults and manually adjust the existing profile with timings that increases bandwidth. If you are feeling experimental, you can try my monitor settings:

    Horizontal: 3840, 48, 32, 80 (Back Porch)
    vertical: 2160, 3, 5, 54

Try these, at 60Hz, and see if you can enable 10bit.

Mind you these are for a 60Hz system. You can also try the auto settings, like LCD Standard, etc. to config for 75Hz.

Thats what its already at as default btw.

    Horizontal: 3840, 48, 32, 80 (Back Porch)
    vertical: 2160, 3, 5, 54

Nothing I do seems to work, but that being said I don't have a bloody clue what i'm doing with this app its completely new to me.
