Yup, i stopped following the PC world about a year ago, lost interest in modding/overclocking/tweaking and i would game here or there. Then just recently i was starting to become more interested in my previous hobbies and i was offered a good deal on Ram/cpu/motherboard (As seen in spec) and i've always love AMD (Never used Intel in my life) Not because i'm a fanboy, i just thought AMD's processes were better

So when i was offered this deal, i just jumped on it and took it with out really researching the C2D and AM2 Performance comparison. However, i am happy with my current set-up, it does every thing i ask flawlessly just the horsepower the C2D has is amazing.

I took a gamble on K10 (k8 at the time) kicking ass. Of course i bought the AM2 before c2d came out either way so we'll see in a few months eh. So if K10 is a flop my next purchase will be intel.
