Ok i`m pretty sure all of you heard of the mars mermaid _rolf http://www.news.com/2300-11397_3-6227262-1.html
Nasa has spent billions of $$, (taxpayer's money), to find out that mar's, like all the other planets in our solar system is a dead planet...so don't rest your hopes on a rock pile....most likely there is no other planet like earth in our solar system...
Why don't the guys at NASA get the rover simply to move in for a closer look. I am sure they can send it cordinates.
Probably because it would take days to months to get to it's location. The picture Foxbat25 posted is a blown up portion of where they discovered it. Here's the original picture: http://www.news.com/2300-11397_3-6227262-3.html?tag=ne.gall.pg
At the provided link: January 25 update: In an e-mail, a NASA spokesman said that the "man" on Mars is actually "a 2-inch sedimentary rock that has been eroded by the wind." ------------------------- As has been mentioned, we see the familiar.
When I first looked at that picture after it loaded I saw a rock formation then I tried to see something else.
Of course they know there is no other planet like Earth in our solar system. NASA isn't there to try and find little green men, or even little green gunk, it's there to find evidence of past life and water. Anyway, NASA said the rock pile was actually a "a 2-inch sedimentary rock that has been eroded by the wind."
I think this is the original image... ....then a little closer... ...and even closer.... So you see it definitely is tiny and personally i can't find it in the original image.
Actually i think i just found it... So you can definitely now see, it is tiny (2 inches according to NASA).
