    Gratz :)

    Unlocking ? No.

And from GTX465 cards it only worked with Point of View cards.

No cause its not with GF100 chip.. GTX465 and 470 are identical in most parts..
Only difference is with some manuafacturers leaving 2 memorychip installed.

did the same with EVGA GTX465sc and it working fine :)
the only thing i complain about is that EVGA the only partner of nVidia that remove that fancy GeForce logo that nVidia put on the card near to the power connectors :S .. as far as i know no other partner do this unless it's non-refrence card .. dunno wat thier problem with this logo lol

    Really ? It has 10 memory chips ? GPU-Z Screenshot ?

I mean it can say it's GTX470 like this one (from XS):

Seems that I was wrong... PNY GTX465 with black PCB unlocks and so does MSI GTX 465 Twin Frozr II Golden Edition, also read about some Leadtek one.

I don't think they removed it, I think it's under the sticker that covers that spot.

    POV465 @ 470
    Hi

I did the same thing, POV 465 to a 470, works like a charm. overclocking its sucks at. I get 750 core on 1.087 and the memory wont budge over 1603.

but hey we cant have it all can we?

are you going to o/c it? if you do let me know how u get on with it. Oh and she is a hot beast isnt she? I hit 95c on OCCT on those overclocks.

I leave it on 700 though, does me!

My GPU temp is stable 90c when folding. so 100% stress. Fan 63%.
It was same before unlocking.. But now i have so much power that i do not need OC =):biggun:

Speaking of the flash in general, if you wanted to flash it back to normal and needed to return for rma to company such as evga, is it possible to revert it back to its original state or is it a no go?

So tell me, I will need the 10 memory chips version instead of the 8 correct? and tell me this, whats the odd If I got an 465 version of the evga card, getting a 10 memory chipped version instead of 8? 768 mb only correct????? in order to flash properly?

My eyes are still on the hd 6000 series but all this talk about being a mid range series, still going to wait before I do anything.

Out of topic real quick, anyone did 470 to 480 flash? I was reading one forum, everything stayed the same but performance went up. Anyone tried this before?

U need 10 chip version of 465 and still that doesnt quarantee it will work..
U can always reflash the card to its original bios....
Saving original BIOS is step NO1 when flashing.

    edit add..

470 cannot be flashed to 480.... Only name in GPU-Z will chance... Its in the hardware...
