Been thinking of getting a 6600gt or 6800gt but, after installling HL2, I think my ti4600 is just fine. In fact if it was a woman I would#$%%^^^ well you know!. Anyway on the CS Stress test , I get 63 fps @ 1024x768, Model Det. High, Texture det. High, Water simple, shadow high, No AA, trilinear, shader High, Vsync disabled. I am not an expert, but it sure looks good and runs fast and smooth. HL2 and CS -Source both are great. I dont think too much of steam though. What fps are some of you getting w/ similar systems but have either a 6600gt or 6800 gt?

The difference between a 4600and a 6800 is that while the frame rate is the same you get dx9 support along with hlsl support for a much nicer image quality. If your happy with what you have right now though, ait tight and wait until you want to upgrade.

I get 105 with these specs on the right. At 1280x1024 everything at high, 4x aa, 16xaf. Thats pretty good for your computer.
