    Hey guys,

    Can't find the car thread.

So I bough a 2016 mustang cali spec edition v8. Magnetic color.

Unfortunately I cant share pics of my actual car as the color wasn't in the show room at the time. (should have it buy end of next week).

The image below is identical however.

What do you guys think? The stock exhaust sounds very nice, but hoping to upgrade to a magnaflow in the later future.

I'll be asking you guys for a lot of advice also in the future as there seems to be quite a few very car savy guys here.

I predict some 50 shades of magnetic happening in that beast.

Nice. Although you're going to be hating the gas mileage you get.

Dude, definitely get a magnaflow exhaust. I had one put on my Mercedes SL500 several years ago and it sounded fantastic and super loud. Really makes the V8 roar even deeper and louder!

At the time it cost me 1000 AED from Sharjah Industrial Area 4, however, it was worth it bro.

super loud exhausts are tacky, but you made a good choice of engine. Great purchase!!!

In NL we get to pay €72k/$80k in CO2-related taxes over that 299g/km V8 (so it costs €116k/$127k here). Gas prices are lovely here too, at over $6/gal. Ran a red light or got a phone in your hand while driving: $250, thank you very much.

Nice, only thing I will say is you should have went with the Ecoboost engine. You'd still get a good amount of power and speed(that turbo though!), and your mileage would have been better. The v8 Fastback you also need to put the premium high octane gas in.

All and all you won't be missing any power at least. :D

Yeah the Ecoboost is a nice engine. I rented a new Ford Fusion over the weekend with the Ecoboost engine and paddle shifters. Boy that was a fun car. I think that may be my next one.

Nice car bro ! ... Get first a good set of tires and then upgrade the exhaust :)

Congrats and enjoy the new ride! The new 5.0 cars are fun and a rather potent platform.

    Completely disagree.

One of the most compliments my mustang gets is how loud and awesome the exhaust sounds.

My 15 Fiesta ST is kinda quiet on idle, but loud ass F*** full throttle under boost and has a straight rally car sound.

Ofcourse this is all opinions, and since I grew up at a dirt track, Im obsessed with very loud cars.

Thats a nice stang dude congrats,

I am not to familar with the new ones but I have owned a total of 13 mustangs in my life so far, everything from a 93 Cobra to a 99 cobra which varied from a Paxton supercharger, I had a vortech supercharger on my limited Gt model and btw I orderd the very 1st vortech supercharger for the 4.6 modualr engine and man that thing was a damm beast!!! It sounded like a dam jet and pushed over 450 to the wheels, that may not seem like alot by todays standards but back in 98 it was Alot!

Put a nice 3.73 gear or 4.10 with a decent cat-back exhasust and your set.

I agree. Apparently the 4 cylinder Mustangs do that as well, not surprisingly being Ford. It's the most stupidest crap thing to put on a car

It is, but the engine is so small and the exhaust is the same situation to where they just don't make a lot of noise.

That ecoboost is still putting out 310hp with a butt load of torque though!
