i have been browsing here for over a decade!

I only lurked for 7 or so years before I finally joined.... sometimes, lurking is half the fun

 

I lurked in 2001 until I had a problem "outrageous" enough to ask the hard pressing questions which I'm sure involved asking why all my games seemed to run like crap on my GF 4 440 MX and 900 mhz Celeron-

The joys of being a teenager with a limited budget and lack of knowledge of the need for a decent CPU.....

I joined in 2003, though lately I've been far less active. Makes you feel old doesn't it?

 

I've been on for about 4 years, great site, always admired it.

Great information, good to help as well as get helped yourself.

Forums, news, chill out pub, vault of fail, different categories, etc, this site has it all, could't be any happier.

Love you Hilbert for offering such a great site.

I lurked for like 4 years before I started posting as well.

 

For me it was 1-2 years or so (had an older account than this one, 2005) :thumbup:

 

I didnt know much so i browse google then found this website.

 

That's pretty well how I found this site too.

 

I lurked for about a year before I joined. I joined for the discussion on Hilberts review of the Geforce 6800 Ultra and GT.

 

I came for Japamd's crysis benchmark tool.

That's pretty much when I really got into PC gaming, before that I had basically minimum requirements for any modern games but I didn't care because I played Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and Starcraft offline for years and still enjoyed them. I had all 3 consoles that gen...now I have none.

 

I'm still pretty much a lurker here, once in a while I post something. Lurked for about a 1.5 or 2 years before joining in 2004. I find the forums/articles to be informative and for the most part neutral.

 

I am also from 2002. I lurked before that too.

I came back recently after finding out how much a complete dick Kyle is over at hardforum after an argument I had with him. He just sucks at being a human being.

 

I used to come here alot for my drivers in 2005, i never bothered posting on the forums at the time,infact i never posted in any forum around then as i couldnt be bothered,there was a guy on here who used to tweak drivers along time ago i think his name was Omega or Side i think,however i thought the XG ones worked better at the time for my rig at the time.

 

I too am guilty of the lurking.

I was a lurker for about 3 years before signing up in 2006. I think I was having problems with an ATI X800 XL at the time. LOL

 

You're the guy that took the user name I wanted to use. I don't know why,but most people named Eddy,or Eddie,are referred to as " fast". That's what everybody called me. I was a regular visitor to this site,and became a member when I had issues to discuss. This is a great and informative forum. You can let me have my name back now.lol.
