Windows and the bios will not detect 6 cores. Latest bios f3g. Any similar issues? Advice? Anything!

try going in msconfig and changing the number of cores thing i had to do that when i got my 710 because it only saw 2 cores i had to change it twice for it to find the third core

Well if the bios doesn't find all six cores, either the board doesn't support the x6 at all or a bios update is needed. Windows won't find six cores unless the bios does.

guess what guys.. I had to open acc and manually enable core 4 and 5 using hybrid ec and then back to normal ec. That was an odd quirk. Now its detected in linux and windows 7. I was frantic lol. Now to OC the crap out of it. I'll post OC details

Nice, that was odd. Keep us posted on the OC with benchmarks!

Wow congrats! I'm so jealous... :p
You sure that thing is stable at its stock voltage? Have u Primed it yet? Personally I won't trust it unless it can do at least 8hr+

intel burn test is the equivalent to excessive prime. Yeah I primed it, you see the green icon on the bottom right? Stock volts, rock stable on STOCK cooling.

Ahh yes, I now see those icons when I scroll to the right on this tablet PC. Mind you, this thing is tiny! :p

Anyways, since your BEAST is still on stock, you should be able to go quite a bit further. Those temps are a bit high. Gonna treat it to some better cooling?

if the bios voltage is on auto it will increase stock voltage itself , is 1.46 actual stock voltage , but looks a great chip for oc i think ill get 1 soon !

yeah i manually set all bios options. spd said stock was 1.475. I dropped it .025 after I hit 4ghz. I am really not interested in going higher lol. Unfortunately my mobo has a bit of voltage play so it fluxes .010-.015 on loads. I think its due to cool and quiet/c1e. I cannot disable them for this cpu even when i disable them in the bios. My cpu still drops to x4 multi on all cores and to 1.2v
