I caved... Quad GTX 580 UD with new AC waterblocks.. New 990X and new 1500W PSU

    I seen your post on XS to do with the homemade inlet pipe with regards to the koolance reservoir,very clever as the company actually made a 1.3 revision on your homemade build lol,you shoulda patented it,nice build also,great for benching which i know is the thing that you are into....now go play something with it:)

    Not much to report, but Im halfway through doing this son of a biatch Aquaero 5 XT and PA2s! Not as neat as my other stuff but its just so damn fiddly!!

    I made a list of things left to do... as much as I do there still seems to be so much left to do! :shock:

    Shorten and Sleeve Sata Cables
    Make and Sleeve SSD power cables
    Drill holes to Mount the SSD cradle
    Make and sleeve a long USB cable for Aquaero
    XXXXXXX-done Make and sleeve 2 x MB Molex cables for extra GPU PCIE power
    XXXXXXX- done Make and sleeve 2nd 8pin CPU cable
    Sleeve 2x tubemeter cables
    Make and sleeve molex to SATA power cable for DVD
    Make and seeve SATA data cable for DVD
    Paint DVD black
    Paint SLI bridge
    Remove stickers from PSUs
    Sleeve exhaust fans
    XXXXXXX- done Ducting/cable mounts and secure long cable runs
    Terminate the temp sensors
    Mount/sleeve 3 x UV light bars


    Install/Mount the blocks.. if they ever arrive :mad:
    Reflow the Indigo Xtreme
    Run the tubing, fill, bleed and leak test
    Reprogram the controller for the new config

    Im exhausted just thinking about it!

    Hehe, looking at all of it now, I'm beginning to think that a whole "squad" should work on building such a monster, I mean the whole scale of it lies in all the little details, no wonder it takes you so much time to complete this beast! :)

    I was just wondering if it would lower gpu temps using gpu->rad->gpu->rad->gpu->rad-> res/pum -> ... instead of rads-> pump -> gpu's -> ... Or some extra pumps there, your not planning to do that gpu config with a single pump (not sure how much stuff you can put to single pump)?

    well those drive res's he's using can take 2 swiftech 655 pumps each an he has 2 of them meaning he can use like 4 pumps

    Ok, thanks for letting me know. That part is fine then. How about that other thing I mentioned (... -> gpu -> gpu -> gpu -> gpu -> ...)

    Im running the GPUs in parallel with 2 D5 pumps and 3 GTX360 Rads so they should be cool enough. ;)

    @The Postman: They are 3 x 24" Acer H243H.

    They finally cleared customs on Thursday last week and should get to me Wednesday fingers crossed! :)

    Am I reading this right? You only get 12fps (13%) speed increase going from 2 to 4 graphics cards?
