Now the original machine wants to be updated to windows 10, can i do this or will Microsoft recognize this cd key as already updated to win 10? Its been more then 30 days since the upgrade to win-10 on the cloned ssd drive!

lol.....did you really need to ask this question? I expect you will have some kind of activation issue sooner or latter even if you go no further. Cause they way i see it, and this is just me, but your already using the same serial on 2 machines....and this is not how its supposed to work....but hey if it works it works!!!

My windows 7 pro 64 bit is an oem system builders cd I bought from tiger direct and the pc was built by me from parts purchased. Ive been using the cloned pc before i upgraded to windows 10 for 4months now! I already did the activation on the cloned pc the day i did the clone. All has worked well since then!

if you have been able to activate the same key on multiple machines since windows XP i dont see that microsoft will have done anything to change that on 10 either
