HyperX Launches Alloy FPS RGB Keyboard with Kailh Silver Speed Switches

A instant fail on that keyboard, atleast to me. No volume control knob...

200% agree, they put RGB led, a gamer brand and they sold it with more marging

 

About that most keyb have a shortcut already in the keyb but if not you can do as me, as a compact keyboard user for years, you can do a shortcut with 2 key (for me it is "fn"+ "F6" "F7" and "F8" for mute, vol - and vol +) and that's all.
When using it, it is faster than most roll control on media keyb.

Also this method work for doing a "windows" key with an unix keyb on a windows OS.

 

Oddly enough I have no idea how the Kailh switches are and how they are compared to e.g. Cherry's. Anybody got experience with them?

 

I have Kailh Brown's and they're not bad. Are they as smoothly tactile as Cherry? No. But by no means are they bad
