How important is hypertransport in performance?can it increase in performance in games or programs if i raise it?is it true that the higher the better?

hi mate, from what i understand there is no real proven gain from raising the HTlink above standard , although.... there are some claims that it may help to bump it up slightly if you are running more than 2 GPU's , although i personaly havnt seen enough proof to suggest this would be the case in every system, but if your running a single GPU its probably better to lock it to default speed.
IF your overclocking your CPU then remember to adjust the htlink ratio/speed back down to around the default as raising core frequencies will also raise HTlink speeds aswel .

    hope this helps buddy :)
