Stay safe man I was just watching about this in the news.Keep your head down.
2:00 am here on the island of Puerto Rico and everything is too quiet , the calm before the storm as we call it , no winds , no rain , very humid. The Hurricane will make a touch down today sometime in the afternoon. Here is the latest map with updated information; ( The winds have increased to 190+ MPH as per the news and the whether channel just a few minutes ago ).
This is about to be real bad. My prayers go out to you man. Seriously.
This is scary.
Prepare well and take care. Look after each others.
I hope you survive and something remains of your homeland.
The latest report on the news shows 184mph with gusts of 223mph!
My thoughts are with you all there.
Good luck Chispy
Over 157kts/181mph means it's Category 6...damn...having winds like that on our own planet. Hopefully all the regular hurricane shelters will hold.
St.Maarten 30 minutes ago - still webcam showing flying debris, probably some fire and flashes - then blackout.
Hang in there Chispy!....prayers
Be safe. I hope everything turns out okay in the end.
Thank you everyone for the prayers and good vibes. This will be my last post as it has started already , heavy rains and winds are picking up fast , due to that the energy system have started collapsing on and off , no idea how much longer i will have energy and / or internet , looking really , really bad Cat 5 190+ MPH winds right now with Gusts winds up to 225+ MPH now. They have called it The Perfect Storm...
There is another Storm on the way called Jose and it looks like we will be hit with it right after Hurricane Irma Steam Rolled all over the Caribbean. God have mercy on all of us ! . Chispy Out ...
Latest news report from the BBC in the UK suggests Puerto Rico will get serious wind but will miss the very worst.
I wouldnt want to have even 100mph less wind than that.
Wow that's some kind of a storm... the sad part is, it's not over soon, and storms like that will be more common in the years and decades to come.
Stay safe chispy, best of luck. Also, in foresight, to any US or other Caribean gurus around.
There is no CAT6.
Latest tracks of Jose show not being a threat to any land. Tiny victories. Keep your head about you.
I have water here for $65 per 24 pack if you need any. Good luck out there.
Stay safe, that webcam footage is pretty incredible.
Stay safe Chispy, all the best to you and your family, sending prayers.
I hope that it completely takes it out Monsanto and leaves the good people alone. God be with you.
Be safe, fwiw, the eye has moved a bit and it looks like it will pass by parallel to the north east coastline, which should help a bit, but man it looks scary as hell.
all the good karma I can muster is heading your way.
Can't wait for Chispy to check back in!....He's been on my mind all day!...
This monster hurricane ain't even over yet....its just getting started...
Loophole and Jaxmax / y'all got a plan?
