That's been all over the news here I'm about 20 miles south of Vancouver. Interesting case considering the States and China are debating tariffs right now.
Stock markets took a dive at the news, they obviously felt this wasn't going to help the trade talks. They have since recovered a little. You can read a lot more into this if you chose to, over and above the sanctions violation charges. As well as the trade war crap, there is a global battle for 5G rollout, US companies are competing with Chinese companies for business. This could be the start of something quite nasty, it will be interesting to see how the Chinese respond. If I was working for a US company over there, I would be scared.
