They're largely exactly the same and I would advise getting neither, the 600mhz cpu that is in them is way too slow to run android 2.3 or 4.0 satisfactory (I had a HTC Hero on 2.1 for a year and a bit and it was pretty awful), try to get something with a 1ghz cpu, even maybe a dual core one. The LG Eclypse seems the next step up, and would be worth the extra 50$. Less check ebay for a second hand one of a similar spec.
