i watched this video before buying my htc one. and the first thing i did was to check my phone for this kind of issues. but i have non of these bad stuff. is this an international problem? maybe iam using a second revision or something? or iam lucky. but not sure if it is a problem let me tell u something. while iam making a call. lets say i will end the call, i move phone from my head, but it is still screen is black, i have to press power button to wake the screen awake..i think thi is an issue. just my phone material quality isnt bad as in the video.
nope. i use nothing. but it is the way of phone works? or it looks like my phone is having issue. Again: iam making a call, if i decide to end the call, i remove phone from my head, and look at screen to end the call via touching end call button or what ever it is. but screen is still black... i just tried again with my bro and it works just fine. i think iam day dreaming. no problems here.
on sunday i made a 10 minutes of calling. and iam very sure that time when moved phone from my head there was just black screen. and i think same thing happened again when i called the bank yesterday. talked for more than 10 minutes and again. maybe it is phones original setting. i mean it SLEEPS the screen if u make a long call hu?
Yeah, it's not normal for the screen to stay black. It's like it goes into a deep sleep mode. Check this with the shop you bought it from & have the phone tested...
hmmm. no idea. yeah maybe take it to shop where i bought it. damn the shop is not my friends shop. it is efficient enough. i dont think we people who r just taking pictures for fun, social networks etc, deosnt need high MP cameras anyway. i mean a high MP is required for big poster prints hu? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5sr1g1zGIA
Haha, not your friends shop? Poor Biggie... And as for high megapixel count, it's not important the size. Sharpness & low levels of noise come first...
hehe, u know i have a friend wh sells phones etc, it is easy when i buy from him, so i can exchange with phones. anyway, i love this phone so much, the way it works, like when u have an incoming call , if u hold the phone the ring tone volume decreases by itself'.
Well. Found out what is the screen issue. My phone screen doesn't wake when I make a cake while I'm using speakers mode. Exactly that time I need to press power button or have to wait other sideneeds to end the call.
Not that a camera phone needs 13MP, but additional megapixels can contribute to additional detail and sharpness when viewed on lower resolution screens. I think HTC could have gone a little further than 4MP.
So. What's the deal with "ultrapixel" 4 mega pixel sensor? Is it just a regular 4 megapixel sensor? Because I can't find any information about it being anything but just that?
No definitely not that same. I have this phone and the picture quality is really good. Superb phone all round.
It's just a regular sized 4 megapixel sensor. I guess the sensor is bigger in the htc one than it was back 5 years ago when phones had 5 megapixel sensors.
The size is pretty much similar to other phones out there though the low amount of pixels make the pixel size quite large. Judging by tests it doesn't seem to be anything that special.
yeah, from what I understand, anyone could make a 4-6megapixel camera nowadays and give it a funky name. I first thought that this would perform similarly to phones from years ago, but I'm not sure how big the sensors were in phones about 5 years ago. actually, I would like to know if the HTC one sensor is bigger than the Nokia n95 (or similar phone) sensor. if not, then HTC is simply pulling a load of marketing bs.
