Want to make your crysis screens look alot better? almost painting like? want to show off to your friends how beautiful this game looks?

    here is how...

These images are originally sizes 3200x2400 resized.

This is running on duo core 2.4ghz, 2gig ram and a 512 7900GTX on XP

Ive tried this in the actual game but the shots get messed up so i recommend you guys do this in the editor.

when in the editor fly around and find a really nice area first and then spawn into it using ctrl+G now that your there bring down the console and type these commands

    e_screenshot_width 3200
    e_screenshot_height 2400

Now of course i use this because its double 1600 by 1200 which is a 4:3 aspect ratio, if your running in widescreen find out what your highest widescreen resolution is and then double those numbers and use them instead.

you can also use e_screenshot_filetype and select which format you want to use i.e JPG, TGA, BMP etc, i prefere TGA myself since its good quality.

then once you want to take a shot simply type

    e_screenshot 1

and it will take the shot minus the HUD.

you should find you shots within the crysis folder under game/screenshots/highres

    hope that helps!

EDIT: here is the 1600x1200 version :)
    cheers!

My screens look no where near that good. Even with the high settings hack.

I love the water in games. I think its the best effect they have ever made.
Therefor i give you a nice screen shot comparison of day cycles in dx10 for what its worth.

    i call it: boat.

LOL, those are not actual screen shots of the game running in real time (for those who may think the game looks that good wile playing). If they were they would be at .00005 fps;)

also, as someone said in the crysis thread, use this command:
    r_colorgrading=1
for the gradient in the sky to look better.
how did you get in 3rd persno view?
and where can I find a list of all the commands and what they do?

Everytime i try taking a screen within the editor with the "e_screenshot 1" command,i get an error message before the sandbox closes. What's up with that?

graphics are amazing, one thing all devolopers have to work on is the point at which the groud comes in contact with the object. eg, the part between the boat and the water, the part between the sand and the rocks, the part between the forrest floor and the foot of the characters, is it called the gradient? No?
