How exactly do you slipstream service pack 2 unto an installation cd? I have a legal Win XP home cd, an administrative copy of service packs 1 and 2 burned onto a cd, and a legal copy of Nero 6.6 + dvd burner. I think I have everything I need to burn a Win XP install cd with SP 2 included slipstream, I just dont know how to go about it. I have read a few guides on how to slipstream but I was hoping I could get something a little more basic and to the point.

I think nLite is the way to go on this one. Not only can you slipstream SP2, but you can tweak like everything else as well, even add drivers and such. I'd at least give it a look.

using Nlite can i slipstream a OS i don't have installed, because i'm running XP home SP2 which came preinstalled on my pc, i wanna run XP pro but my copy doesn't have SP2 on it , and i can't install it cos theres no PCI-E support before SP2 so i need to slipstream SP2 onto XP Pro whilst havin Home installed before i can install xp pro.

Just copy all the contents of the XP PRO CD to your HD in a folder and then when u run nLite, it asks for the folder which contains windows files and select that folder !!
