Err...I dunno how to ask but I put it in a scenario...

I have one 120GB WD HDD, I seperated it into 2 partition which is C and D drive. I install my OS in my C drive. I put all my "private files into D drive. I have 3 user account in this computer. Ok, let get to the point, I want to make Partition D only be access by me and not the other 2 users. I have alot of private files which I want to lock away from the other 2 users... is there a way to do it? Using software? Well I didnt put it into my "My Document" be cause C drive only have 40GB and my D drive have larger disk space... Plz help:(

    Thankz:D

  2. Shouldn't be too difficult.
Go to Control Panel -> Folder options.
You can then disable "easy file sharing".

If you right click a folder now and go to properties you will have Windows 2000-like options to give permissions (even read permissions). Try to set permissions on your D: partition (don't know if that works) and if that doesn't work simply create a folder inside your D: partition and set it to be only read by you.

The best way is to use PGP and create a secure encrypted partition using a 256-bit AES cypher key.
