    Hi all.

Do you know any app to run Whatsapp in a container or somehow blocked from going haywire on the phone? Phone is a Galaxy S8.

Of memory serves me still, used to set up two distinct Fb accounts on same phone.
Basically a wrapper around am app.
Still, only trying can see if serves your purpose.

As usual, thank Hilbert for letting us using this space.
We are here to learn from each other, I always picture a huge library full of computers, with bright minds having academic discussions when I think about Guru3D.

The manual you linked does almost the same like Island, which was recommended by @anticupidon before.

And the main language on this forum is English, not German. ;)

It is not about running WhatsApp twice, it is about running WhatsApp on your phone without it sniffing everything.

But that doesn't stop Google sniffing every bit of your personal data.
Not to rain on your parade, but...

I know Google spys on us. Bit there are other solutions for that like sending random ad IDs and such stuff. I just worried about WA, because I didnt have an option to keep WA from snoffing the phone after installation. Island still runs like a charm and a big plus is you can disable the whole Island if you dont need it, terminating everything in there and therefore saving a lot of battery life.
My wife's Samsung S8 runs almost 2 days until battery is empty (standard use, maybe 2 to 3 hours a day + some calls). With WA running in the background it is just half a day until she needs juice again.

    My parade is waterproof. ;)

Why continue to even use WA since theres so many noninvasive messaging programs out there?

I dont use it. My wife does so, sadly.
I love my wife and I love privacy and data protection, so Island is my way to satisfy both loves at once. ;)
