It is true! In windy_city_unpack/graphics/gfx/atmospherics, look for gfx__d_snowflake.xbt. Hope someone here can replace the rain with snow!
This wont create snow on the ground though. Not to mention it'll look weird with the few npc's walking around in shorts.
Jep would make 0 sense i doubt we can do it though im pretty sure Ubisoft will do a Chicago Winter period based DLC

OK so im having a bit of trouble. I wanted to replace the xbox controller ui buttons with the DS4 buttons(since im just using a tool to play with my DS4), and i managed to find the 2 files in the path windy_city>ui>supertextures>platfrom. I put the edited file in the same path as the original in patch file, but nothing has changed in-game. Am i missing something? There was the xbt file and an bfd file, do i have to do something with the bfd file?
Edit: I figured it out. I was using the wrong xbt file.

Anyone knows how to call a spider tank in free roam?
I have seen a mod that you can call that car from The Madness
so I was wondering how can I call a spider tank
So maybe anyone can help or have good ideas

So I maybe its the best to mod the Tank as a char but maybe its possible to make it as a car with own skills.

Yup it gives back the old E3 presentation look but you also see they improved the whole UI especially for the PC version and Keyboard/Mouse interaction
Does anybody know where all the animations are located? I'm trying to look for the older ones used in earlier demos and I can't seem to find them.

Pinkish are clear Background,some are so for the visuals by rain and at night. and if you play at low or Medium texture setting you must only edit the "Texturen with no high in the name(07_adsconstrbridge_d) edit the high if you use high or ultra textures in game (07_adsconstrbridge_d_high)
Two ways to get snow flakes
1. Replace snowflake.xbt with raindrop.xbt (rename it I think they arein the same folder)
2. Edit windy_city.xml and found the line raindrop and paste the name of the snowflake.xbt in there
Work both, you can also change size and sensivity there and in the renderconfig.xml
There are many many files.
Use this file, open with editor or wordpad and Use There search button,
It will show you the paths of wanted files (its a list of all the files from common, windy city, dlc ) maybe you search only "animation " then you got the path
You can also search 'e3' and look whats showing up (note there more e3files if You unpack some lib and/or xml files )
I am also confuse too, because i am using ultra texture
and my signs only change the texture "no _high" xbt(With _high resoultion)
but there is show correct edited signs in the game
Hm. I would dont give wrong information. Now im confused too.
Maybe you use low editet textures, because its editet in the defaultrenderconfig.xml
There you can edit wich textures used for the different setting, Maybe its edited so, for better performance.
I cant check to give you the correct lines, because im not at home.
But this could be a reason... :-/
I'm sure run on ultra texture...so why i feel stranged
And i test delete the defaultrenderconfig.xml then pack it,i have got same edited signs result
hm fits to me, only differnce i used AlwaysMip0Loading="1", but coudlnt be the reason... now i've no idea :-(
