How to get rid of the numbers in the top right while playing game (frames counter?)

How do I get rid of the red LCD-looking digits up at the top right?

I think it might be a fps counter

it appeared after installing tray tools for the first time, only when I am playing a game (even on the loading screens and menus)

 

Go to Tools & Options > OnScreen Display, and uncheck Enable OnScreen Display.

 

thanks a lot I tried looking in all the other options (display etc) but couldnt find it, didnt think to check normal settings

 

hmm.. I turned it off, it went away.. but then later it appeared again!

I checked back and the setting is still DEFINITELY off, but the frame counter is back...

buggy maybe :/

 

try hiding it instead?
