Both RV670 and G92 support are already added to 2.06, however I've not yet deceided when will I launch it - simultaneously with G92 or with RV670 announce. Most likely it will be RV670 announce day (which is scheuled a bit later than G92 announce).

Most likely. If there's a component un-overclocked Unwinder will find a way to enable you to overclock it. Also, please don't double post, it makes threads unnecessarily long and this thread did not need a bump.

Anyone confirm a forsure that the extra 16 shaders are lazer cut?

just tried out my 8800gt and I noticed NVstrap was gone. I was going to try an unlock.

NVStrap doesn't support G9x cores yet.

I think this subject is relatively new, and actual at the moment. So considering the new 8800GT (which i have placed an order for), what is the story with the 16 extra pipelines? Are they software disabled/masked or physically not present/laser cut?

NVIDIA never did the same mistake twice, they are not supid. Stream processor units are disabled via fuses almost with 100% warranty. Wich means that they are not unlockable via software.
