This is the same that happens in very country, cities with vgood locations for current days (global trading) get much more money while the ones who used to produce the goods for them are now fcked because chinese production is much cheaper, so either they get illegal migrants or they lower their salaries.

Now someone comes and tells them, i'm going to close borders! you'll be the provider for the rich guys again. Of course they are going to vote him, it would be dumb not to do so.

However their workforce comes from the ones with less money/worse location.

Maybe they country (US in ur case) should lower taxes instead to promote companies no relocate at those states, but they don't, at least in Spain at a lower scale (we got the same problem, Madrid and Barcelona sucking everything around them and only leftover in the coast is tourism). I guess same goes in the US.

And of course, if country doesn't help, states with lower income can't afford to lower taxes.

I think one of the biggest problems is that country relationships are mostly pre-capitalism... Except maybe the EU, which does what I ask (with better or worse effectiveness), but the EU has much less power than the federal goverment, as it's ruling over very old countries/empires instead of newly created states (at the time of creation) who had been switching owner between EU empires.

I'm not sure of the USA Business model because it seems like everywhere it's spreads to the people become worse off in culding their health.. which they make money off the back of that ...

Great... 2 utter total sh i t e for brains cabinet members. Better to actually have Hillary and Sanders than those two fooking dimwits.

This was what Trump had said in the debates and on his website. Lowering corporate TAX AND less on offshore money to repatriate it. The problem is that all working folks still pay the SAME level of TAXES!

There are some civilian tax cuts but those are pathetic even when compared to Clinton's tax plan.

I thought your country's tax problem is mainly because Spaniards and Portuguese only work 6 months out of the year vs everyone else in the region? :p Not sure about Italy. Will advise after my trip there.

I don't even want to comment on the EU as a whole... You guys have so many inter-state and local state issues right now that needs sorting out.

Who are they? The Tories? They have been raping your working class hard lately cutting NHS, teacher, doctor and nursing salaries, schools spending, other civil liberties and so on... and yet you guys keep giving your establishment pedophiles, crooks, and corporate tools raises and letting them have their way, instead of prosecuting them because half of your lot is afraid of black and brown. I can tell you it is way better on the "Raining Island with no Sun" than in any US inner cities.

Maybe you guys can give labor some support and actually have a get trained in a skill and goto work program for new immigrants and out of job Brits instead of spending it on a nuclear sub that doesn't work. Even Scotland doesn't want it over there.

Actually, you may need a Trump of your own to clean house as much as the States does. Otherwise I have no idea what else is going there but London is nice everytime I visit.

Lowering corporate tax might encourage companies to set up shop in an area but it won't stop them paying their workers a pittance and pocketing the rest, it will create some jobs but doesn't solve the root of the problem which is unfair wealth distribution in a stagnant economy.

imo, what the government should do is introduce mandatory profit sharing where a percentage of a company's profit is redistributed to the workers as a profit sharing bonus. Tie this to the corporation tax, ie. the company's tax bill is reduced by the value of this profit sharing bonus which means it costs businesses nothing to implement. The tax receipt to the government will be a bit lower but this would also lower the cost of social security because fewer people would need it as they are now earning more. There'd be an initial shortfall so government borrowing would need to go up to compensate but with interest rates so low it would be a perfect time to do it.

It would provide a massive boost to the economy which should eliminate the shortfall in a couple of years; people would have more disposable income so would spend more. And of course people would now have a vested interest in the company they work for, in other words - if the company does better then the workers earn more. When workers earn more then they are more likely to take a bit of pride in the job they do to make sure it's done properly, they'll also work harder if it is going to directly benefit them instead of simply making the rich richer, thus eliminating the problem of low productivity.

This is how you make a fairer economy that works for everyone instead of the work house culture we seem to be reverting to.

How so? He only barely won.

He lost the popular vote by the highest margin ever for someone who "won".

All this election does is illustrate once again why the electoral college is such a dipsh!t way of doing things. I seem to recall Trump complaining about exactly that a couple days ago and how it would work against him. I suspect now he thinks the EC system is great. No need to fix that, eh?

This is twice now that Republicans (Bush) have won the POTUS office while losing the popular vote. Hooray for democracy.

You hypocrites got this completely unqualified man into office with the most outlandishly hateful and deceitful campaign in election history. Bully for you.

Hilarious I say. All the tears, riots and violence by left at the moment is just baffling. It will be interesting to see how this develops with Trump being president. I think he will do more good then bad.

Having decided that I couldn't put my support behind anyone in this election, I can't say I'm totally happy that Trump won but I will say that I'm overjoyed that Hellary (intentional misspelling) lost. I hope she is haunted for the rest of her life by the specter of who she lost to.

The electoral college is a good thing. It was established to prevent the large states from dominating everything and it has done a very good job of that. It needs to stay in place.

But it doesnt and shes not.

I suspect now Hilary supporters think the democratic system is great. No need to fix that, eh?

270 to 228 is a 'wide margin', IMO

Everyone knew the rules going into this, and I suspect that you would have been happy if things happened in exactly the opposite fashion. I guess that makes us both Hypocrites, eh?

    Exactly right.

If you lack workers, salaries raise :)

Or if workers lack money, prices decrease

thats the greatness of capitalism (except when its global, bcs then you compete with different economies)

Regardless of his religious beliefs and education, he is one stupid mofo and disconnected even from common sense:

    2. Obamacare is worse than slavery. We live in a Gestapo age.
    7. Planned Parenthood is a plot to kill black babies.

Source: http://www.salon.com/2015/09/30/the_7_most_impressively_stupid_things_ben_carson_has_said_partner/ and many more. Just search for it.

Even though I disagree with Obama and his decisions, I can respect and understand people who are neutral, fair and support their arguments with reason and intelligence.

Caron's comments are in WTF was he gabbing about territory. The point is that he spews verbal diarrhea that lacks any critical thinking, analysis or judgment despite his credentials. I'm not knocking his personality as he appears to be somewhat sane until he gabs off crap like the above.
