    GF8800GTS 640MB @ stock
    Only the GF4Ti4200 128

Will soon be getting a 256MB PCIe card for the box I'm slowly building, probably a X800XL or 6800GT unless nVidia's next generation includes something in the $300 area.

Hm, looking at all the videocards that people have bought and then put aside, it makes me think, maybe manufactors should make videocards without built-in memory, just sockets, so we can move our ram onto the newer videocards, hehe imagine having a couple of sockets on a videocard just like on ur motherboard, so after u bought a bunch of videocards, you could at least end up having 1 gb of video memory at your latest one, lol (yeah, just not to mention incompatibility) hehe :D :D :D

yeah, not to forget, I only had two 128 mb ram videocards, that is a forca fx5200 and a msi fx5900xt.

yeah, iirc some old matrox card accepted S0dimm memory or something

would be totally useless however i think, i mean think of the cost, and if your using normal ddr dimms you would need to go quad channel for a 256 bit card
