How do they figure out the gameplay in this? Especially multiplayer?

Average among users or something?

 

Yeah... it's a horribly vague estimation.
It doesn't count in the fact that people have 100s of hours in games like Borderlands 2 or Skyrim.
Or people like me that have 70+ hours into specific games simply because we enjoy them. No matter how straight forward they are.

It's like those calculator sites that tell you how much your Steam account is worth.
But, it only takes into account how much the games cost now... not how much they were when you bought them.

lol all I have is 313 hours. You guys with over 1000 hours. I hope you guys only buy games on Sales because so many times I realize a game I haven't installed, I see at a Steam sale and think, I could of bought that right now for cheaper because I haven't even played it and installed it when I paid more money for it back then.

Well since I've had my account for 9+ years now I've acquired quite a few games. Add in all the games from Steam sales and all these humble bundle packs now and those numbers add up.

Basically same here if something worth grabbing a Humble Bundle pack, I normally pick them up any odd things look interesting I just add to my account rest I give away to friends. But I do order a lot from GMG with discount codes.
