An anecdotal story of failure is hardly research. I could tell everyone about my dead Corsair PSUs or bad EVGA video cards, etc, etc, but why bother? Plenty of people have had zero issues. Name any brand name and search the web. Guarantee you'll find someone who had a bad experience. No company has a zero failure rate so I'm not really sure what your point was other than to post a smarmy remark.

Had a Corsair HX850 last 8 years, weak 12v in the end, out of 8 years it had 19 days down time, its been replaced by a Corsair TX850M, about 2 years old now.
Have a PC Power and Cooling 860w going on 10 years plus, with 10 months down time.

I just retired 2 Corsair AX1200 PSU's that have been used for between 10 and 11 years. Whilst they both still performed fine, I didn't want to push my luck as i do a fair bit of overclocking.
