If I were to spend $1,200 - would this be the best bang for my buck?

I want something I can upgrade later on if necessary. I'll be outfitting it with Windows 7.

I would get different CPU cooler, but it's just what I would do. That V8 is quite good one, but there are few which have better performance for buck... But it's package deal so perhaps worth it.

Dual GTS250 is big no... Or buy that package, sell both GTS250's and get something better. Those are low-end cards. Getting one fast card is definitely better idea.
Not sure when GTX460 was coming out, but ATI 5850 or GTX470 would be good ones for that rig if you cant wait for those new cheaper cards. HD5770 is a bit "meh" and 5830 is overpriced.

Get this board itz much better - Gigabyte X58A-UD3R

    Also I agree get a 5850 or GTX470/5870

Oh and for coolers, a Prolimatech Megahalems, Titan Fenrir, H50 would be better
