how i do vista classic like xp?

    in vista tis not like in xp ... the classic ... if u know what i mean xp classic its faster than vista classic
    how do i use XP Classic in vista?^^

    u mean Windows Media Player Classic?

    it is faster than Windows media player yes..u mean it?

    well if you want xp install xp.

    however if you want vista but dont want any of the UI features, you can start by setting the theme to vista basic. then you can start disabling various features 1 at time.
    you can click on taskbar and start menu properties and choose classic and you can do the same for control panel. (it comes close but will never be the same)

    The XP classic mode is not available in Vista. You can try using the Windows Classic theme through your display properties. That is the most lightweight way of handling your GUI.

    hello there, go and get TuneUpUtilities 2008, you can convert the vista look and fell to xp, it works very well.

    1. Change the Start menu to Classic

    2. Set the theme to "Windows Standard"

    3. Disable both the Themes and "Desktop Window Manager Session Manager" services

    4. Done

    right click on the desktop, go to "personalize" then go to theme and switch it to Windows Classic and it will look very similar to XP...or you can go to "system" in the control panel, click on "advanced system settings" click on the "settings" button under "performance" and change it to "adjust for best performance"
