whats your opinion pf pc game flatout and how are graphics. I have no car games but I like crashing cars so this game looks interesting but is expensive..
have you checked out guru3d review of the game? http://www.guru3d.com/article/gamereviews/199/ You will find my comments about game there
graphically its good .. nice simulation engine .. good damage control ... but too hard and tends to get boring .... try the demo first ....
Am i the only one that thought it was and still is great. How can you say it gets boring? I know it is a racing game, designed to be repetative, going round and round a track with no story line. But when that gets tiresome then you can play the sub games which are unique to this game. The graphics are superb, the sound fits well and plays really well with a steering wheel. I have flatout, gt4, Richard Burns, all the Collin McRae. I go back to Flatout time and time again because you can just sit down and enjoy a game without having to worry about position and form, just put peddle to metal and knock everything out of the way. You even get points (in the way of boost) for crashing into things. MATT
Boring , stupid nitro scoring system irritating crashing out of a window for a slight knock yet a 180 flip will do nothing. Ragdoll on the charecter comming ouf the window is laughable. IRRITAING REPETATIVE GAME.
Its a pretty good game. Although definately try the demo first. It doesn't appeal to some people as it can see a bit arcady. I had it on ps2 and also the demo on pc. Yes it is repetative but it is also fun for a quick 10 minute thrash. If you can get it cheap then go for it.
I liked the game. Graphics are good. I was able to play @1280x960 w/4xAA and 16xAA with avg 50-60 fps. Gameplay is good but gets boring in the end. But, the bonus races are really cool...
I wish they would have made it just a demolition derby game because the racing becomes very boring. Not only that but the AI gets insanely hard and frustrating.
On the subject of demolition derby, does anyone remember that series for playstation? It was one of the first games (for ps) i played, i loved it.
