hi! I bought an Asus A88x-plus motherboard with A10-7860k APU recently. I have 3 problems with my new hardwares:
1-((solved)) Cpu throttle when the IGPU is under load. stock frequency 3.6GHz and OCed to 4.2GHz. but when the igpu is under load, there is no different and Cpu frequency goes to 2.5GHz .
2-I can't oc the igpu. I tried it in bios. then booted windows and started Aida64 gpu stability test. but it still 757mhz. I ran a game and monitored gpu freq by msi afterburner. it shown a same frequency, 757mhz. I tried to oc igpu by afterburner. but it can't handle it too.
3- before I buy this bundle, I had gigabyte GA-A75-DS3P with an A4-3300 apu and a dedicated gpu. AOD could work with them. but after I changed the hardware, it doesn't work correctly. when I started it and click ok for the warning, it says intializing, and after a second, bammm, system restarts. I unistalled it and deleted ace folder then I intalled it again. and a same thing happened! I didn't try to change the windows.
(edit: I found that it's a problem with AODdriver4.3 service, but I don't know how to solve it yet)

Sounds like a cooling issue, you do realise your igpu is part of your cpu.

If your board does not allow you to increase power limit above 95W. Or reduce voltage for CPU/iGPU part. You can only improve cooling which has tiny effect on power efficiency.

And while you have trouble OCing iGPU, maybe downclock to 700MHz would help.

You cannot stop this! this is how their architecture works. They sold false advertised specs for well over 2 gens.. it will be a duel core, as well, even box says quad core but it is dual with amd version of hyperthreading.

my cpu tdp is 65watts. but digi+ vrm lets me rise it 30%. and... aa.. I wanted to overclock igpu, not to underclock. how underclock would help me? and about cooling, that's right. I have the baddest cooling solution ( stock cooler)

I know it's a dual modul that each one have 8 ALU, 2 FPU, 2IL1, 2DL1, 1L2, so it has many ALU. fpus and L2 are shared. but alus and L1s can be divided to 2 threads physically, it's different from SMT; and after all, what is it's relation to throttle?

yes I have cooling issue. but temps comes down when GPU is in load!!

Not much relation... but... I even test older apu & their embedded apus too.
I ran apu bench on a8-7600 it performed what I thought a amd laptop should be at for the time period. last winter with very low temps I had the pc outside it was cold and I got my best overclocks. I also have a a8-6410 which was like a rebadge a6 which really pissed me off if you gonna rebadge at least move the higher tier no lower tier to a6 to a8, also I know that I cant stand pc if it is not running above 2.4ghz so I buy above 2ghz laptop crap runs at 1.4ghz with that amazing a6 apu with a8 sticker in my view. I ran 1.4ghz on a fkin Athlon duron.

you can stop the throttle buy a real gpu but that cpu is trash because it not real 4 cores but 2 core 2 thread and my 860k runs 4.5ghz ddr3 2400 but the apus seem to have better memory connections with igpu although the fps will be terrible because amd stock likes $3 dollar. think it their fallback # don't worry plebs you get 120 cores on their new Athlon line up. or buy a $300 console it is a real amd apu and finally kill off this disgusting legacy scam platform called budget pc gaming..

dur duh durhh I can watch ah youtube. cool store bro I did that on a 133mhz intel and a 486 to IE was fancy as frack hold on I connect my aol load my blakenstone an wolfstine. way more exciting then watching me plug a ryzen 2600 in enable xmp and watch my windows 10 crash; never mind, all the crap china spyware I gotta install just to get some lousy unstable overclock. . oh that sweet new rx570 don't worry wattman software is amazeballs!!!! thanks. but I need to save money for at least 6months if I want to buy a GPU. and if there is no more solution for throttling problem, so lets talk about the 2 others

this apu consistently gives 3, 13, 20 min fps on cpu bound games even with a gpu. I recommend a 1050ti 1060 max but your gonna still not be happy with frame times because the mins wont change. But I think just using the igpu is best with this cpu it communicates with ram better. try a dell i5 3470 re use your ddr3 and parts if you don't wanna jump on new $1000 platform with a 960 970 or 1060 1070.

Have you tried linux? Maybe there you can get different behavior.
Does BIOS has some turbo features? Maybe those functions are responsible for dynamic clock change and therefore for downclock under GPU load due to bad implementation. Try to disable that. You may be stuck at base 3.6GHz, but it may potentially remove lower clocks too.

Side note: Cousin's wife uses A10-7850K which is 95W, load on GPU caused CPU to go bit down, but not under 3.9GHz. When I gave her my old HD-7970, I disable iGPU allowing more watts for CPU part.

For your number 3 problem, check windows error logs. There you may find some driver problem.

thanks. I tried the final paragraph and found a driver problem an this is the error log:
the AODdriver4.3 service failed to start due to the following error : the system cannot find the file specified
what can I do except reinstalling the windows?
in addition, I found so many system registery files that was corrupted then recovered!

Check your system memory. If you are facing corruption in registry, runtime, drive, ... system memory may have troubles.

Manually set 2048MB, run 2 or 3 of them at once and let them get to at least 100% coverage. Or till it finds 1st error. Usually takes under 20% if there are some issues. Big issues would be identified immediately after you press "Start Testing".

I ran it 2 times overnight (6880% coverage) . no errors found. AOD still unable to run

So corruption is not sourced by memory. I expect MB does not have BCLK OC feature, so SATA controller itself should not be culprit.
Check if your SATA cables are positioned outside of places causing interference. (I had little problem with SSD data corruption once as I had SATA cable going around PSU and along power cables.)
In your case when you do not have high current spikes (as you have no dGPU), magnetic field should not cause issues, but if SATA cable is close enough (touching)...

To the: "AODdriver4.3 service failed to start due to the following error : the system cannot find the file specified"
Is there actual file mentioned in details? Maybe some logfile in application or "userData" folder.
