It will be another 50 years before we see this type of speed in the UK and then you'll probably see a 30 gig a month cap lol.

I'd very much like to see a none-partition single 30 TB file. Chances are it would be a way to travel through time

Oh and much more on topic, I really don't have to complain about my current connection:

how about a true 24mbit connection that's constant, uninterrupted, unthrottled, 1ms pings latency, at a fair price with no FUP instead of 30 terabits of dreamy speed?

i'd take that over 30 tera.

Great deduction Sherlock, that or the fact that it says ''Montreal'' on the image and that it's 7h40 am in Montreal right now, most likely that I didnt wake up so early just because ''I like the sunrise'' or whatever reason why people wake up early for

But don't worry guys this connection is very throttled but still doesnt go to waste, 7+ domain server remotable (at least one always connected) + Lotus notes and Outlook + 2 MSN etc etc etc

Actually I had no idea what the time was in Montreal, but it wasn't hard to figure out the situation even though I'm normally still in bed at that hour myself...

And it's Mr Holmes thank you....

Can your hdd / sdd write that fast?

ISPs around here in the U.S. are too cheap and greedy to give decent service on their already crummy lines. Unless the government stops protecting them we won't see good service for a long time...

That's another news story that belongs into the (so far) "imaginary" thread of possible future technology developments.
